- Rosowsky, Shlomo
- (1878-1962)Israeli composer. In St Petersburg he was an active member of the Society for Jewish Folk Music. In 1925 he emigrated to Palestine, where he composed music for the Hebrew theatre. Besides composing, he studied Jewish music and published a work on the cantil-lation of the Bible. He later lived in the US and taught at the Jewish Theological Seminary.
